You are able to book a time slot for an appointment. This however only gets you past the queu into the door. Once inside you fall in line with everyone inside already. So if there are eg 75 people ahead of you, you wait to be called when your number eg 76 comes up. You appointment time slot has no other value. You still have to wait for hours to be seen. Even the manager tells you that once inside your booked time is of no value. Unlike Malmesbury Home Affairs where you are attended to as per your slot booked. Vredenburg home affairs needs to step up to the plate with respecting the time slot appointments - why else would a person book a time to be seen and then spend hours sitting in a queue before they are seen to??? If time slots have no value then why are they offered???, If its a matter of staff and equipment then government needs to provide the necessary.
